A dwarf variety of the keystone shrub found from coastal bluffs and grasslands to woodland. This evergreen ground cover coyote bush will only grow to 6' across and 1' tall. Male flower heads are little fragrant buttons. Fabulous insect plant, good colonizer on tough sites. Shrubs can be pruned into elegant forms or can be sheared once per year to insure dense growth. Plant with manzanitas, coffee berry, ceanothus, and toyon. Attracts many native insects. Goldfinches and sparrows love the seeds!
