A wonderful sage from southern California chaparral. Leaves carry one of the supreme fragrances of our native flora and is considered to be one of our tastiest native sages. Mounding shrub with gray-green foliage; spires of purple blue flowers in summer, a favorite of bees, hummingbirds, and hawkmoths. The seeds attract birds. Use with sagebrush, monkeyflower, and silver bush lupine. Blooms May to August. |
